Some passions are fleeting, but dance was never one of them. I started ballet at age seven in Virginia not because I dreamed of dancing, but because my best friend did, and I had to do everything she did. Unlike other childhood hobbies, this one stuck. After moving back to New Mexico, I trained at Fishback Studio of the Dance and, by 16 auditioned for a local dance company, where I danced for several years. While earning my B.S. in Biology at UNM, I continued training, blending my love for movement with academic pursuits. In 2001, I moved to New York City for an internship at Broadway Dance Center, where I had the privilege of training under Kat Wildish, Michele Asaf, and other renowned instructors. I also trained at Steps on Broadway and appeared in TV shows and films like American Gangster, Sex and the City, Law & Order, Dave Chappelle Show, Third Watch, and various stage productions in upstate NY. Returning to New Mexico, I continued training with Dance Theater of the Southwest under Patricia Dickinson, performing in productions like The Nutcracker and Dracula. My love for teaching began in my 20s, leading classes at Kids Love to Dance, RhythmZEdge, LeggZ Ltd (NY), and Triple Threat Dance Studio (ABQ). I also coached the Van Buren Middle School and Highland High School Drill Teams in the late ’90s and choreographed for events like the Mrs. New Mexico Pageant (2013), local quinceañeras, and wedding couples preparing for their big day. In 2018, I expanded into Ballroom dance, where I met both my partner in life and business. Since then, I’ve competed on the NDCA, USA, ACDA, and UCWDC circuits, earning multiple amateur championships, including a Silver Showdance national title with the NDCA. In 2022, I co-founded Two Left Feet, a space where beginners and experienced dancers alike can build confidence, skill, and a true love for dance. The most common question people ask me is: Do you still dance? The answer is simple - YES! Dance is who I am, and my greatest joy is sharing that passion with my students.

Everyone remembers the first time they danced. It’s either exhilarating or terrifying. For Enzo, it was both. He started dancing just two years ago, looking for a way to balance work with a hobby that could last a lifetime. What he didn’t expect was how dance would transform his confidence, freedom, and the understanding that success, both in dance and in life, comes from mastering the balance between effort and enjoyment.
Now, as an instructor at 2 Left Feet, Enzo specializes in making dance accessible, fun, and stress-free. Whether you're stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or refining your skills, his teaching style is all about making dance feel natural. Instead of overthinking, you’ll just enjoy the process and want to keep learning.
When people see Loan dance, they never believe he began dancing in 2021. He is proof you don’t need a dance background to be great at dancing. Putting in the time and the correct practices will go a long way. Loan’s goal is to see everyone become confident while smiling on the dance floor.
